Bella Skill Builder with Fat Quarter Shop - Month 8

Happy September 1st and Month 8 of the Bella Skill Builder with Fat Quarter Shop! We are so close to being done with our quilt top!!! I am loving learning all the new sewing skills each month!

This month is the Starburst block! 

Time to get sewing our Starburst blocks!

Before you trim down your Starburst blocks....they look ready to appliqué on to your quilt

Then I grabbed by trusty 12.5" x 12.5" Creative Grids Quilting Square Ruler and trimmed down my blocks.

Tip:

Press seams open as instructed in pattern. The center of the block is quite bulky. Don't worry if you have don't have perfect points...no one will look that close ;)
