Sewing the Stars were so quick this month...even if I made a cutting oops. That is why you should always measure twice and not be watching This is Us ;) when cutting fabric!

I love straight-line quilting and usually reserve it for smaller projects as it takes quite a bit of time and thread - but I love the look! I used the included thread in our box this month - it's a perfect match!

Enchanted Stars Quilt with AGF Trinkets Fusion - NEW PATTERN

I was so excited when Art Gallery Fabrics asked me to design a quilt for their upcoming Trinkets Fusion Look Book (here). We decided that my Enchanted Stars Quilt would be perfect for featuring the fabric collection Trinkets Fusion. The fabrics are absolutely gorgeous and the colors are perfect for fall! Plus the fabrics feel so soft -- I love the quality of Art Gallery Fabrics!

I designed the fat quarter friendly quilt pattern - Enchanted Stars for Trinkets Fusion collection! Since I love the fabric patterns, I wanted to use large blocks so the fabrics could really shine!

Enchanted Stars is a great beginner pattern to learn to sew flying geese! Flying geese are fun and useful blocks to learn to sew! They are used in so many patterns! Don't worry---it isn't too many flying geese blocks, but just enough to learn them well!

These flying geese help build the star blocks....I always love a quilt with stars!

I loved sewing and quilting my Enchanted Stars Quilt! Big block quilts always come together so quickly...yay for fast quilts!

Perfect 10 Quilt Along with Fat Quarter Shop (plus GIVEAWAY reminder)

The Perfect 10 Sampler Quilt Along starts today! My favorite pre-cut is the 10" square so I love all the new quilt ideas in the Perfect 10 Book! For the Quilt Along, we will be making two blocks every Tuesday from October 9 to December 4!

This week's blocks: Banana Block and Birthday Cake Blocks were fun and quick to sew! You can cut and sew both blocks in under a hour!

Cozy Up - Beginner Mystery Quilt with Fort Worth Fabric Studio

I am so excited to announce a new Mystery Quilt I designed with Fort Worth Fabric Studio --- Cozy Up! 

The Cozy Up Mystery Quilt has been designed for beginner quilters to help build your quilting skills! Of course, it will be fun for experienced quilters too!!! 

We will finish the Cozy Up Quilt in plenty of time for you to enjoy during the Holiday Season or to give as a special gift!
