A Bit of Scrap Stuff Blog #ABitofScrapStuff #SewersClub #Sew #MakersGonnaMake

Hello Sewing Friends! Today I'm sharing the super useful Fold & Go Sewing Wallet and bonus key fob.   This awesome Fold & Go Sewing Wallet is the feature project of the Sewers Club - January Box!  This month you will learn - zipper installation, pockets, magnetic snap, and so much more. Don't worry if you are new at sewing because the instructional video is AMAZING and shows every step!

I have already added my essential sewing supplies into my Fold & Go Sewing Wallet and it's perfect next to my sewing machine - love it! PS - Look at the cute matching key fob!!!

All of the supplies you need to make your own Fold & Go Sewing Wallet plus bonus key fob are included in the Sewers Club Box - including an awesome tutorial video! I highly recommend watching the video before starting your project as it is full of helpful tips! I like to watch the video and sew along - it's easy to pause and rewind/rewatch a step if needed!

Let's take a look at the Sewers Club - January Box

Box Contents:
  • Fold & Go Sewing Wallet printed pattern and link to full instructional video
  • Carnaby Street fabric by Maywood Studio for Fold & Go Sewing Wallet and Key Fob
  • Pellon Fusible Fleece
  • 14mm Magnetic Snap
  • 9" Zipper with flower zipper pull

The Fold & Go Sewing Wallet has so many fun features!!! Serina Victoria (pattern designer for Sewers Club) did an amazing job creating this project!

I love the metallic looking zipper - but it is actually plastic so it's easy to sew and no need to worry about broken needles! Plus the flower zipper pull is too cute!

Look at all the pockets and space for your storing your favorite sewing supplies!

The pattern cover shows the white fabric for the exterior - but I chose to swap my fabrics and used the white fabric for interior and navy blue for exterior. I love the navy color!

I highly recommend watching the Sewers Club instructional video BEFORE starting - it is full of helpful sewing tips so your project will be easy to make and look amazing!

Mobius Scarves - Maxie Mail November Box

I loved the November Maxie Mail Box!!!! I can't believe this was my first time sewing scarves?!?!? I was able to watch the awesome "how to" video from Maxie and sew up both scarves in about an hour!

Let's chat more about the November Maxie Mail Box-

EVERYTHING is included in your November Maxie Mail Box to make TWO Mobius Scarves PLUS a full video tutorial. So don't worry if this your first time sewing scarves---Maxie makes it easy!

What's included:

  • (2) 1/2 yard cuts of Skopelos Art Gallery Voile (60" in width)
  • Bohin wrist pin cushion from France
  • Clover Flower Head Pins for shear fabrics - perfect for voile
  • Gutermann thread
  • Tea
  • Printed Pattern and Video

The included Art Gallery Voile fabric is GORGEOUS and perfect for scarves - plus it feels lovely. The scarves are perfect for yourself or to give as gifts...hint ;). Handmade gifts are always so extra special!

The Mobius scarves can be worn multiple ways - Maxie shows 6 different ways!

My favorite is the double twist.

Or a simple knot at the bottom

I enjoy receiving my Maxie Mail Subscription Box each month! I love how she always teaches us a new technique and includes the supplies to make the project! It is truly a "class in a box". They are great for anyone who loves sewing and quilting! I love how I can take a class right in my home! Plus the projects are always useful and beautiful!

Don't worry - you can still order the November Box and sew up both scarves to give as gifts or keep for yourself!
