Honey Run's four colors (white, yellow, gray, black) were perfect for making a fun patchwork quilt with a gradient of color! Patchwork is such a classic design that I love!
This flowering tree gorgeous and just perfect for photos! I love springtime!

Cutting and Sewing Time:
I chose to cut my blocks at 4.5" squares instead of the Simple Sparkle pattern suggestion of 5" squares. I like the slightly smaller size of the squares plus I have a 4.5" square AccuQuilt die so I knew I could cut all (208) 4.5" squares quickly and accurately! I love my AccuQuilt GO! so much!!!
The layout of my quilt is 13 x 16 blocks. I arranged 4 rows of each color - starting with white then yellow then gray then black. I made sure to mix a few colors up as I liked the surprise pop of color!
I just love the diamond bee fabric for the binding! Plus stippling was a must as it makes the quilt so comfy and cuddly! This is going to be one well loved quilt!
