Piece and Quilt Sampler: Month 2

It's Month Two of the Piece and Quilt Sampler Quilt Along with Fat Quarter Shop.  I'm having so much fun making the blocks for this fabulous sampler quilt. 

May Blocks:

• (1) 12" Album Star

• (1) 12" Hovering Hawks Block

I chose to make a 12" block instead of following the pattern for a 9" block with borders.

Supplies:

• Celebrate with Quilts Book
• 30s Playtime Fabric by Linzee McCray for Moda Fabrics
• Piece and Quilt Along Supplies at Fat Quarter Shop

Tip:

For perfect half-square triangles and quarter-square triangles - I recommend:

• AccuQuilt GO! Dies: 8" Qube and 12" or 6" Qube

OR

• Piece and Quilt Sampler Foundation Paper
