Perfectly Pieced: Puppy Stuffy

 

Hi Machine Embroidery friends! I made the cutest little Puppy Stuffy, which is the bonus project for the February 2024: Perfectly Pieced.  I made the smaller version that can be made in a 5" x 7" hoop because tiny is just adorable!

To make the Puppy Stuffy (2 sizes are included in your digital files): I first made (3) 2" finished heart blocks including quilting on my embroidery machine. They are so itty bitty! Then I used my sewing machine to sew the three blocks together to create the tummy panel for the puppy.

Next, it was time to load the embroidery file to complete the stuffy panel. The included directions are so well written that it is easy to complete your project! Instagram video of embroidering puppy face (here). 

When you finish your cute little puppy, it is flat until you add stuffing. I used Polyfil as the stuffing then hand stitched the back opening closed.

I had so much fun making this cute puppy stuffy this month! I also want to make a table runner with the heart blocks too! Love the included quilting designs!
