Hi Quilty Friends! Today I'm chatting about my Park Quilt - Hidden Cottage. I chose my Park Quilt pattern because I had (1) 10" stacker of Hidden Cottage plus 1 yard of Hidden Cottage Hexagon Fabric - which was perfect!
Hidden Cottage has all of my favorites: gorgeous florals, hexagon prints, gingham, and sweet illustrations. I'm seriously loving Hidden Cottage!
Let's chat more about the Park Quilt Pattern available at Etsy (here) or PayHip (here)

- (1) yard border fabric - Hidden Cottage designed by Minki Kim for Riley Blake Designs
- (2) yards background and sashing fabric - Aqua Pin Dots designed by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs
- 0.625 yards binding - Aqua 1/8" stripe designed by Riley Blake Designs
- 4 yards backing - Bee Basics Cottage Tiny Daisy designed by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs
- Instead of using the background fabric for the Park Quilt Block Center - I chose to use the low volume prints from my Hidden Cottage Stacker instead. I LOVE it!
- Park Quilt pattern is written with standard rotary cutting directions, but you could easily use your AccuQuilt GO! 8" Qube to cut ALL the Park Quilt block pieces. Don't pre-cut the 10" squares - just place the 10" square (fan fold) on the AccuQuilt die and cut. Easy, accurate, and quick!
Park Quilt is a block based pattern - so you can easily make the quilt smaller or larger by making less or more blocks! I love the flexibility!
Park Quilt is the perfect beginner quilt pattern as the entire pattern is squares! No half-square triangles or flying geese or any advanced piecing techniques!
The hexagon print from the Hidden Cottage collection was perfect for the border. It looks like I did tricky hexagon piecing, BUT it is the printed fabric. Plus this hexagon fabric would make the cutest bag too!
I took this picture in the evening and I think the coloring of the sun rays remind me of warm fall colors! I'm not quite ready for fall, but I do love the colors! Seriously the mustard yellow is so gorgeous.
I hope you love the Park Quilt - Hidden Cottage as much as I do!

Beautiful, beautiful, Melanie! Love how you used the hexie print for the outer border. MSQC has a layer cake of this on sale today - their daily deal. Love it!
