I'm quilting with Smol designed by Kimberly Kight with Speckled designed by Rashida Coleman-Hale for Ruby Star Society / Moda Fabrics.
- 1/2 yard bundle - Smol designed by Kimberly Kight for Ruby Star Society
- 5&1/2 yards Background Fabric: Speckled Metallic White Gold designed by Rashida Coleman-Hale for Ruby Star Society
- Backing Fabric - Smol designed by Kimberly Kight for Ruby Star Society
I like taking the extra time to piece my quilt backs because now I have a double-sided quilt!!! I love that both quilt sides are fabulous and match!
I chose to sew my quilt label into the flower block. PS - I pay for a Sweetwater label membership as I love having personalized labels mailed to me each month.
I seriously love my Serendipity Quilt so much! Sampler quilts are always so fun to make as I love the block variety!
I really love how I used a light fabric for the quilt front backing and the opposite with a navy fabric for the quilt back - so fun! Here is a fun side by side look!

I absolutely love your backing - you are right about the lovely contrast between the light coloured front and the navy on the back; really nice work!
