Prim Churn Dash Quilt and Project Bag

It's time to share my Churn Dash Quilt with Lori Holt's newest fabric collection with Riley Blake Designs - Prim! I'm a huge fan of Lori Holt's designs...both fabric and cross stitch!

I absolutely love the Churn Dash Quilt Block...it's one of my all time favorites! So I totally love this quilt!!!

I'm going to share a little secret...I used the Prim Churn Dash fabric print for my quilt center! Yes - all those little churn dash blocks are printed on the fabric!!! Keep reading for a mini tutorial with cutting instructions so you can make a Prim Churn Dash Quilt too!

I loved the colorful scrappy borders around the churn dash blocks on the fabric so I did the same design when I added borders to my quilt...it matches perfectly!

Here's a peek of the Prim Vinyl Zipper Pouch I made with my scraps!

Soooo this is a long blog post, but I have to share the bonus project I made with my Prim scraps....a Prim Vinyl Project Bag!!!

I'm joining in for the Prim Stitch Along and definitely needed a matching bag!!! It's about 16" x 16" so it's perfect for holding my floss, fabric, and q-snap. Plus check out the super cute Prim Village House Charm!!!

Prim Cross Stitch Supplies

I didn't use a pattern for my Prim Project bag because I used my left over fabric...but here is a great video by Riley Blake Designs to make your own (here)

I loved sewing with the gorgeous Prim fabric collection designed by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs! I'm definitely going to need more of this fabric! Prim will be shipping to quilt shops this month! Here's a peek of all the lovely fabrics.
