Autumn Quilt Seed Mini Quilt / Pillow

It's almost fall and pumpkin time! I'm not ready for summer to end, but I did love making the Autumn Quilt Seed Mini Quilt / Pillow!  I am a huge Lori Holt fan and was excited to make a project using one of her Quilt Seeds Patterns and new Autumn fabric collection.

Did you know that Missouri Star Quilt Company has Lori Holt fabrics and patterns?!?! Plus if you use my affiliate link (here) you can save an additional 20% off orders $50+ , which is soooo awesome for Lori Holt fabrics plus all your other supplies available at Missouri Star Quilt Company.

Supplies: (available at Missouri Star Quilt Company)

• Autumn Quilt Seeds Pumpkin No 4 Pattern by Lori Holt
• (1) Autumn 10" Stacker designed by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs
• 1/2 yard Autumn - Posy Milk Can designed by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs
• 1/2 yard Autumn - Perennial Latte designed by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs
• 20" x 20" Pillow insert
• Optional - but so cute: Jenny's Signature Series Tools and Toolbox

The Autumn Seeds Pattern is well written and easy to follow with diagrams! There are quite a few tiny pieces so labeling each cut is super helpful when assembling the quilt block.

I quilted this project with my embroidery machine using Kimberbell Clear Blue Tiles and Kimberbell Autumn 6 background quilting design - it looks sooooo amazing!  PS - I highly recommend Dime Snap Hoops (magnetic hoops) for quilting with your embroidery machine.   Instagram reel (here)

When I make mini quilts, I love to add a zipper to the back so it can also be a pillow! I love having decor options! As Autumn Seed Pumpkin 4 block finishes at 18" x 20",  I made the side borders slightly larger so the block finished at 20" x 20" (or 20.5" x 20.5" unfinished).
