Hello! Today I'm sharing the fabulous On the Go Stylish Side Tie Bag I made with the June Sewers Club Box. This adorable bag uses Vintage Boardwalk Fabric designed by Kimberbell...I love the bicycles and flowers!
All of the supplies you need to make the On the Go Stylish Side Tie Bag are included in the Sewers Club Box - including an awesome instructional video! I highly recommend watching the video before starting your project as it is full of helpful tips! I like to watch the video and sew along - it's easy to pause and rewind/rewatch a step if needed!
Let's take a look at the Sewers Club - June Box
Box Contents:
- (3) cuts of Vintage Boardwalk designed by Kimberbell
- Gutermann Sew-All Thread
- Fusible Fleece
- (2) Silver 1" D-rings
- On the Go Stylish Side Tie Bag Pattern AND instructional video
- Optional Add-on: Machine Needle Threader and Measuring Gauge
Sewing Tips:
- I chose to diagonal quilt the bag exterior pieces 2" apart. I used a Hera Marker and ruler for marking quilting lines.
- I used a zipper foot when top stitching bag and attaching ties to D-rings so I could stitch close to the D-ring.
The On the Go Stylish Side Tie Bag closes with a magnetic snap and has one pocket between bag exterior and flap plus an interior slip pocket for your phone.
I can't wait to see the project for the July Sewers Club Box! I love learning new sewing techniques each month!
