At Home Jolly Bar plus Exclusive Garden Gala Quilt Pattern
I was sooooo excited to receive the At Home Jolly Bar designed by Bonnie & Camille for Moda Fabrics. A Jolly Bar is a Moda precut exclusive to Fat Quarter Shop and contains (42) 5 "x 10" rectangles. I especially love this Jolly Bar as it contains BOTH color ways for the At Home Collection. The Garden Gala Quilt is a must make pattern! I absolutely looooove it!

Another Jolly Bar bonus is that Fat Quarter Shop includes a free pattern (see below) with each Jolly Bar so you also receive the included Jolly Bar Quilt pattern too - it's rolled right up in the fabric!
The Scallop & Waves Quilting Template is brand new at Fat Quarter Shop. The template is made of thick acrylic plastic so you can trace with your favorite marking pen onto your quilting project and stitch on the marked lines for perfect scallops and waves. Alphabitties are a must for me! I use them when assembling quilt blocks AND when sewing my quilt rows together! Alphabitties keep me organized and help me know, which piece I need to sew next! The expansion pack is needed as so many patterns have numbers 10-19 and double alphabet letters (Lori Holt large patterns).
I'm excited to try the Posey Handmade Beeswax Thread Conditioner for cross stitching! Hopefully no more floss tangles ;). It would also be great for paper piecing and hand stitching binding. PS - it smells like honey!

Hello, due to a move I had to cancel my sampler boxes. Today I pulled out the April 2020 box to begin working on the enclosed quilt project. 1. The fabrics did not quite match the photo in the pattern. That was okay, thankfully there were extras, I just substituted similar values. 2. The pattern has some misprints. I am able to figure it out, but it is very frustrating.

DeleteSo sorry that there was difficulty with the pattern. I would recommend sharing the pattern misprints and feedback with Fat Quarter Shop. I haven't actually made the quilt yet. I used my Jolly Bar for the Jolly Bar Row Along Quilt.
