Year of the Fat Quarter with Fat Quarter Shop plus a GIVEAWAY

 Happy April! Have you heard Fat Quarter Shop has named 2018- The Year of the Fat Quarter. I LOVE it! April is all about GRAY and I just love this neutral bundle! This is one of my most favorite fabric bundles!

I love the new Riverside Pattern by It's Sew Emma Patterns and knew it would be perfect for this bundle! The pattern shows off each fabric so well and I love the modern look! 

Supplies to make your own Riverside Quilt (lap size) 56: x 73"

1. April Year of the Fat Quarter Bundle (15 FQ)

2. It's Sew Emma Riverside Quilt Pattern PDF or Printed

3. Moda Bella White Bleached for background - 2 yards

4. Flora and Fawn - 1 yard (extra fat quarter and binding)

5. Aurifil White 2024

I really loved sewing this quilt! I followed the Riverside pattern and trimmed each block to size- which did take a bit of time...but worth it! A little "how to " video by FQS.

For the binding- I chose to use Flora and Fawn Weave fabric, which I love! 

Who else is excited about Year of the Fat Quarter? It is my favorite pre-cut size as it is so versatile! Plus they look all cute stacked and folded!

Finished quilts also look cute folded....
