Hello Fabric Friends! I'm so excited to share my Charm Square Cherry Quilt with the soon-to-be released Ruby Star Society fabrics!!!! Fat Quarter Shop was generous to send me (2) Ruby Star Society Charm Packs - Anagram and Crescent. The fabrics are absolutely gorgeous and have a soft feel to them --- so nice!!! Crescent is designed by Sarah Watts for Ruby Star Society and is full of unicorns, animals, florals, and metallic! I love the plum colors and unicorns!!!
Anagram is designed by Kimberly Kight for Ruby Star Society and is full of happy faces, grids, letters, squiggles, and metallic too! It mixes so well with Crescent!
Charm Square Cherry Quilt Pattern
I knew I wanted to use almost all of the charm squares and didn't want to cut them tiny - so the Charm Square Cherry Quilt designed by Fat Quarter Shop was perfect. Plus it is FREE - hooray! Charm Square Cherry Quilt pattern is great for beginner quilters as it has straight seams with simple piecing! It's the perfect pattern for all your charm squares!
Did you know that Fat Quarter Shop has a section for FREE patterns and it's organized by precut and/or manufacturer. I love it for when I'm looking for a pattern for a specific pre-cut. Check it out here.
- (72) 5" Charm Squares. (1) Charm Pack of Crescent and (1) Charm Pack of Anagram
- (72) 5" Solid Charm Squares. I used (2) Charm Packs Basic Grey Grunge Gris
- 0.625 yard for binding. Moda Essential Black Stripe
- 3.5 yards backing. Riley Black Medium Dots Gray

- Aurifil Dove
- Hobbs 80/20 batting
I had so much fun photographing my Charm Square Cherry Quilt! It was a beautiful day outside and so perfect! Springtime is the best! I just love the blossoming trees!
Ruby Star Society Yardage isn't available yet so I used the Moda Essential Black Stripe and it is awesome for binding! I always love a striped binding.
Charm Square Cherry Quilt is perfect to take to the park for a picnic! It is the perfect size at 52.5" x 54.5"
