Jelly Roll Race to the Finish Line Quilt Pattern with Fort Worth Fabric Studio

We wanted a fun to sew pattern that uses a jelly roll....so we made a few changes to the original Jelly Roll Race Pattern by cutting the jelly roll strips in half and sewing the strips together with straight seams! Now we have Jelly Roll Race to the Finish Line Quilt Pattern...plus it is a free quilt pattern at Fort Worth Fabric Studio!!!

We couldn't resist making another quilt with Badda Bing fabric...it is so happy and gorgeous! I just love the cherries, floral, and gingham!!!

Since I LOVE every single fabric in the Badda Bing Fabric Collection...Star Break Quilt Pattern uses every single 10" Layer Cake Square. No left over layer cake squares to collect dust in the scrap bin...yay!

You can easily sew this quilt together while the kiddos are in school or over a weekend! It is a relaxing quilt kit that allows you to just enjoy sewing and creating a quilt...my favorite kind! In fact- I even designed the stars to be "no matching points". This gives perfect stars every time - hooray!

Hello Lovely Jumbo Zipper Pouch

I sewed myself new Hello Lovely jumbo zipper pouch that holds my iPad mini and Orion Project Planner...yay!!! Plus I am totally smitten with Amanda's Hello Lovely Collection and can't stop sewing with it!

I had 12 left over half square triangle blocks (or the goose droppings LOL ) from Amanda's Friendship QAL- Loyal Blocks that I wanted to sew up. They are just too cute to toss! 

I love them all sewn in row...so many lovely points!!! 

This is a nice jumbo zipper pouch...measuring 9" x 11.5". I love how it can hold so much! Plus the added wrist strap makes it so handy. I love it when I remember to sew one on!

I decided to add quilting to my pouch for some fun texture! I used the Riley Blake Linen...so the stitching added a fun pattern too!

Orange Blossom Table Runner - Maxie Mail Subscription Box

 Who LOVES sewing curves???? I'm going to guess that very few hands are up...which is why I LOVED this month's Maxie Mail Subscription Box! Maxie included the Orange Blossom Pattern and video which shows a fabulous technique that makes curves super easy with NO pins or special sewing feet! I am loving how each month Maxie teaches a new sewing technique!

• Art Gallery Pure Elements (16) 10x10" squares. This is enough fabric to make the table runner or mini quilt or table topper!

After I was watched Maxie's video- I was so excited to try this new technique. I made a few blocks and then couldn't stop! I love the sharp petal points...plus they were sooooo easy to sew! The first few blocks took a bit of time, but then once I "got it". I chain pieced four blocks at a time...super quick!

I wanted a new table runner so I arranged my 16 blocks as shown below.

I just love how it looks on my dining table....it makes me so happy! Plus my family loves it too (even the hubby)!

I decided to straight line quilt my table runner....I love the clean and modern look it gives! Each line is about 1/2" apart. Plus the binding fabric Maxie chose is perfect!
