Hello Quilty Friends! Today I'm sharing the NEW Garment District Mini Quilt designed by Christopher Thompson for Riley Blake Designs that I made. I am SO EXCITED to have this awesome new mini quilt to hang in my Sewing Room!
The adorable thread spools are done with foundation paper piecing - which is super fun! It is has been awhile since I did foundation paper piecing and I've totally missed it! I love how perfect the blocks are with this technique! Don't worry - this is a super easy foundation paper piecing project - perfect for a beginner!
For the quilting - I did my favorite free motion meandering pattern on my home sewing machine (Janome M7). Plus I LOVE the texture!
Garment District Mini Quilt finishes at 13.5" x 29" - which is going to be perfect in my Sewing Room!
Supplies:

Very creative. I am sure you have the perfect spot for it. We don't always have to make big quilts!
