The Starling Quilt is a quick to sew and really shows off the gorgeous Art Gallery Fabrics!!! Of course, I chose the AGF Color Master Box - Vibrant Violet!!!

My Quilt Ingredients -I made larger borders and scrappy backing!

• AGF Color Master Box- I chose Vibrant Violet
• 1.5 yards of Capsules Craftbound Marked Sights Yardage
• 2.5 yards of Tallinn Midnight Sofia 
• 0.625 yards of Fusions Spices Impressions
• FREE Starling Quilt pattern
• Happy Cloud Batting 80/20
• Aurifil Lavender Thread

Starling Quilt Tips

• Be sure to save your left over triangles. I will be sharing a bonus project that turns them into half square triangles! Little sneak below.

• I purchased extra fabric for my outer background/border so I could make my quilt bigger. My borders are cut 6.75" x WOF instead of 2.5" x WOF. This made my quilt more lap size at 61" x 61"!
• I also used all the left over fabric plus just a bit from my stash to create a scrappy backing...love it!

With a scrappy backing - my quilt is double sided now!!!

Plus a peek of the binding!!! I love machine binding!!!
