I am loving my new summer bag!!! I have been wanting to sew myself a Poolside Tote for awhile so I thought it would be the perfect first project to sew on my new Janome sewing machine...which I love :).
The ADORNit Jumbo Stripe fabric is my absolute favorite striped fabric...it's perfect! I love it for this tote! It was fun to change the directions of the stripes for the zipper and facing. This bag is HUGE...so it will be perfect for the lake and pool!

Check out the interior of the bag...it's huge plus the striped facing adds a fun surprise! I chose to add the optional key holder clip (it works great with a huge bag), plus a slip pocket, and the exterior zip pocket. I always like to have at least one zipper pocket in my bag to hold my phone and wallet. Plus the metal zipper is a fun touch!
I love how the fabric is printed with STRAIGHT stripes so I could match them up...which made me happy.
I am absolutely loving my new tote! I've already brought it to the park and it was perfect!!! I love how it holds everything for this mom of three :).
