Ready to make your Upstream Quilt 57" x 57"
Supplies:
Tips from my quilt:
1. I chose to use Mermaid Days Here Fishy Fish Blue fabric for the center square in each of my blocks.
2. Be sure to cut the fat quarters carefully as there is just enough to cut 144 squares.
3. I loved using the 108" Wide Back Shades Robin fabric for my quilt back! I loved not piecing the back of my quilt...plus the left over fabric was perfect for binding and extra squares if a cutting oops.
For the quilting I decided to use aqua thread to stipple the quilt. I love how it looks likes ripples in the water!
Extra Fabrics that I used to make this quilt.
I love using Swiss Dots for the backgrounds of my quilts! I think it is the perfect neutral without being solid color!
This was my first time using Wide Back fabric for my quilt back and I LOVE it! I loved not having to piece the backing plus it was perfect for the binding too! Also it matches the front in case you need extra squares ;)
I just loved sewing this quilt!!! This is definitely a pattern I will making again!
