Hi Quilty Friends! I'm excited to part of Fat Quarter Shop Remix Blog Series! Today I'm remixing A Brilliant Cut Mini Quilt - yay!!! This project was perfect as my nephew and his finance were married on Saturday - they are just the cutest!

My "Remix" A Brilliant Cut Changes
  • Colors - I chose to change to Moda Bella Solids that matched the wedding colors. PS - I'm having an awesome GIVEAWAY on my Instagram account for a Moda Bella Fat Quarter Bundle from Fat Quarter Shop!!!
  • Pillow option - I added a zipper backing so the couple can decide on mini quilt OR pillow.
  • Size - My A Brilliant Cut Mini Quilt / Pillow is a 16"square so I could use a standard pillow insert plus I love the square!
  • Hand Embroidery - I hand embroidered their wedding date with Cosmo Embroidery Floss. I love personalizing gifts!

A Brilliant Cut Mini Quilt is the perfect gift to give that special couple for a wedding or anniversary gift!
