Rose Petal Friday Bundle Batch with Fort Worth Fabric Studio

Happy Friday! I'm excited to share my Rose Petal Pillows
with this week's Friday Bundle Batch at Fort Worth Fabric Studio!!! I always enjoy sewing pillows because new pillows are an affordable way to update the style of your home!
I just love this super sweet rose fabric with soft pinks and gray! This week the Friday Bundle Batch features Free Spirit's Charlotte Fabric by Tanya Whelan...she designs the best floral fabrics!

Does this pattern look familiar??? I used the same block pattern for my Home is Where the Haunt is table runner! I love a good versatile pattern! The pattern is Blossom Tablerunner in Tablerunner Bliss.  ...I just changed the pattern a bit to become pillows! Keep Reading on how to sew your own matching pillows 16" x 16" using the Rose Petal Friday Bundle Batch!

Supplies:

1. Rose Petal Friday Bundle Batch - Fat Quarter Bundle
2. Tablerunner Bliss Book -each pattern is less than $1 each! Plus the patterns can easily be turned into quilts or pillows!
3. Aurifil White Thread
4. 18" x 18" batting
5. 16" x 16" pillow forms

1. Fabric Selection:
*Note. You have enough background fabric for 1 pillow, if you want to make 2 pillows...then you will need a bit extra of the background fabric or 4 of the squares for the second pillow will just be slightly smaller if cut carefully out of one fat quarter- but can be used with a smaller seam allowance.

2. Cutting (for one pillow)
C (4)
D (8)
E (8)
G (1)
H (8)
I (8)

3. Sew per Tablerunner Bliss Book instructions.

4. Quilt as desired. I chose to stipple my pillows with Aurifil White 50wt.

5. Make Pillow Backing. I chose zipper backings.

I hope you decide to sew some Rose Petal Pillows too! They are fun to sew and look so pretty!!!! I really love this block pattern!!! Below is the same pattern from a few weeks ago (Fort Worth Fabric Studio even has a few Home is Where the Haunt is bundles left here)

Be sure to grab your Rose Petal Friday Batch Bundle here and Table Runner Bliss Book here before it sells out! If there is a pattern in the Table Runner Bliss Book that you would like to see...let me know and I will try to sew it ;).

  1. The pillows are beautiful, Melanie! The soft pinks and Grays are "my" colors. Thank you for sharing.
